Job summary

Cross Country Nurses invites a travel RN to join the Labor and Delivery team in Scranton, PA, starting 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. This position includes a 12-hour night shift schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week and potential weekend/holiday coverage.

Travel RN duties include antepartum, intrapartum, surgical and NICU recovery care, with Cerner and GE Centricity used for electronic records. Benefits and housing options are provided by Cross Country Nurses.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the United States.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications.
• Basic Arrhythmia course completion.
• No minimum years of experience beyond recent Labor and Delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for antepartum, intrapartum, surgical and NICU recovery patients.
• Assess patients and administer medications as prescribed.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and respond to abnormalities.
• Deliver neonatal care and resuscitation as needed.
