Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for an 18-week travel assignment in Williston, North Dakota. The RN will provide obstetric care, monitor mother and baby, and collaborate with a clinical team in a facility setting.

The role requires 1 year of L&D experience, RN license in good standing, and current BLS. Benefits include comprehensive insurance and competitive travel pay.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience.
• Active RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and support procedures.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during delivery.
• Provide postpartum and newborn care.
• Educate families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and anesthesiologists.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies with evidence-based protocols.
• Document care in medical records.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
