Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Carlisle, PA. This 13-week assignment requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts and is designated Travel employment.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of recent acute care experience and holds ACLS, BLS and NRP certifications. You will support mothers before, during and after delivery and assist physicians with procedures as needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS, NRP certifications required.
• Travel RN experience requested.
• 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Stay with and monitor patient throughout labor.
• Monitor contractions and assist with breathing techniques.
• Check cervix periodically to monitor progression.
• Maintain beds clean and dry and manage fluids around birth.
• Assist physician with delivery instruments and drapes.
• Provide immediate care to newborn.
