Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Oklahoma. The role requires 2 years L&D and 2 years travel nursing experience, with an active RN license (Oklahoma or eNLC). Shift is nights, 12-hour, 3 days per week (36 hours).

The assignment spans 13 weeks with a start ASAP. Compensation includes a weekly pay of $2,584 plus stipends for lodging and meals, reflecting the higher end of the state pay transparency range.

Qualifications

• Active RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC).
• Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and 2 years of travel nursing experience required.
• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association only).
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required.
• NRP Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit nursing care for patients with varying health needs.
• Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products.
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
• Delegates tasks to support staff as needed.
• Monitors patient condition and communicates care plans with patients and families.
