Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN for Labor and Delivery in Sharon, Connecticut. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week and night shifts. Travel role and couplet care responsibilities are included.

Requirements include active CT license, BLS/ACLS/NRP, and AWHONN/NCC fetal monitoring certifications, with a minimum of 2 years of LDRP experience. Local candidates within 60 miles may receive a reduced rate and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

Active CT license or compact license required.
Current BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications.
AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification required.
NCC Fetal Monitoring certification required.
Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP nursing experience.

Responsibilities

Attend all deliveries and provide couplet care.
Work in a 78-bed hospital delivering Labor & Delivery, Couplet Care, and related services.
Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
Occasional float to Medical/Surgical or Senior Behavioral Health units.
Must be willing to float without accepting a patient assignment.
Local candidates within 60 miles may be accepted at a reduced rate.
