Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a Travel Nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for an 8-week assignment in Flowood, Mississippi. You will monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications, assist with labor and delivery, and provide postpartum care within a busy obstetric unit.

Qualifications

One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
BLS certification must be valid per AHA/ARC guidelines.
NRP certification required.
RN license in good standing with state regulations.

Responsibilities

Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes during labor and delivery.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following obstetric nursing protocols.
Assist with labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care.
Provide postpartum support and education to new mothers and families.
Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and nursing staff.
