Job summary
Sterling Regional MedCenter is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor & Delivery for a 13-week assignment in Sterling, Colorado. The nurse will provide care throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being and collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Colorado.
- CO CAPS certification required.
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, AFM, AWHONN certifications.
- Strong maternal assessment and fetal monitoring skills.
- Ability to respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork.
- Availability for overnight schedule for the contract duration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care through labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum period.
- Monitor maternal vitals, labor progression, and fetal heart rate.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies and complications promptly.
- Administer medications per orders and protocols.
- Assist with labor management, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
- Support newborn care and initial assessments.
- Educate and support patients and families during childbirth.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, neonatal teams, and others.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate status changes.
