Job summary

Labor and Delivery RN position in McAllen, TX with Cross Country Nurses. Travel assignment includes 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week, start on 11/02/2026 and ends 01/25/2027. Responsibilities cover labor, delivery and postpartum care in a busy unit with emphasis on patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include BLS and NRP certifications; obstetric experience preferred but not mandatory. GE fetal monitoring and CPN EMR systems are used to support clinical care.

Qualifications

• BLS and NRP certifications required.
• Experience in obstetric care preferred; not strictly required.
• Strong patient-care and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients during labor, delivery and postpartum.
• Support vaginal deliveries and cesarean procedures as needed.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort and fetal monitoring standards.
