Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Seneca, SC. The travel RN will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, starting 10/12/2026, for a travel assignment.
The role requires 1 year of L&D RN experience, an active RN license, BLS, and NRP certification. Preferred certifications may include AWHONN fetal monitoring, STABLE, and ACLS. Competitive benefits are provided.
Qualifications
- 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
- Current RN license per state regulations
- BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required
- NRP certification required
Responsibilities
- Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery
- Administer medications and treatments per obstetric nursing standards
- Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and procedures
- Provide postpartum care and newborn stabilization
- Educate patients and families on breastfeeding and newborn care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and neonatologists
- Respond to obstetric emergencies following evidence-based protocols
- Document care and interventions in medical records
- Participate in quality improvement to improve outcomes
- Perform fetal monitoring and interpret results
- Assist in cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures
- Adhere to regulatory standards and hospital policies
