Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Carthage, TN. The traveler will work 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, with start date 09/28/2026.

This role offers competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive clinical team. Qualified candidates have at least one year of Labor and Delivery experience, an active RN license, and current BLS; NRP and ACLS are preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with Labor & Delivery experience required.
• Current RN license in Tennessee or complicit state.
• BLS credential active and CPR-compliant.
• NRP certification required/preferred to work in obstetrics.

Responsibilities

• Assess maternal and fetal health during labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Assist physicians during labor, delivery, and cesarean sections.
• Provide postpartum care and newborn stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
