Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Clyde, North Carolina. The position is a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care experience in a hospital setting.
• RN with labor and delivery experience preferred.
• Current licensing and certifications as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions including medications, specimen collection, treatments and documenting care.
• Monitor and communicate patient condition to care team, physicians, patient and family.
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support.
• Assess learning needs of patient and family and provide education appropriate to age, culture and condition.
• Advocate for the patient’s physical and emotional well-being.
