Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Phoenix, Arizona. The assignment runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, offering competitive pay and travel benefits.

As an L&D RN you will care for mothers and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum stages, monitor vitals, support families, and maintain high standards of safety and quality in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active RN License
• Degree from accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS AWHONN Certifications
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Labor and Delivery (L&D) setting
• Other requirements to be determined by our client facility

Responsibilities

• Labor and Delivery (LD) nurses provide care to women and their newborns during the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal stages.
• Monitor vital signs of the mother and baby during birth.
• Monitor patients for potential high risk problems.
• Educate and support mothers and their families after giving birth.
