Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ogallala, NE. This role requires a current RN license, BLS, NRP, and substantial Labor and Delivery experience.

You will provide care throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, coordinating with obstetric and neonatal teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care. The position offers 36 hours per week, night shifts, and travel benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience.
• Current RN license in Nebraska/compact state compliance.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
• Monitor fetal status and maternal health, administer medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists and neonatal team to ensure safe care.
• Respond to obstetric emergencies using evidence-based protocols.
• Document care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
