Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Devils Lake, ND. The role focuses on maternal and fetal care, medication administration, and collaboration with the obstetric team.

You will work a 36-hour week on 12-hour shifts, with comprehensive benefits and support from a dedicated clinical team. A current RN license, BLS, and NRP are required.

Qualifications

• One year recent experience as Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification preferred.
• STABLE and ACLS Certifications (AHA/ARC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate labor and delivery procedures to patients and families, providing reassurance.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following obstetric nursing techniques.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician during labor, delivery, and examinations.
• Provide immediate postpartum care, including mother and newborn assessment and stabilization.
• Educate patients on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists and team members.
