Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Labor and Delivery RN for a 13-week assignment in Lima, Ohio. The traveler will provide comprehensive obstetric nursing care, monitor maternal and fetal health, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe deliveries and postpartum support.

The role includes 12-hour shifts, a 36-hour work week, ASAP start, and a focus on high-quality patient care with competitive compensation and full benefits for traveling professionals.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Labor and Delivery RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery patient care including maternal and fetal assessment.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per obstetric nursing guidelines.
• Prepare equipment and assist physicians during labor, delivery, and exams.
• Provide immediate postpartum care and neonatal stabilization.
• Educate patients and families on postpartum recovery, breastfeeding, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, neonatologists, and team members.
