Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN in Labor and Delivery for a 12-week assignment in Coos Bay, Oregon.

The position requires 36 hours per week with 12-hour shifts and offers a weekly pay of $2,326. The Labor and Delivery nurse delivers care using the nursing process, monitors the mother’s vitals, assists with birthing and provides patient education and psychosocial support after delivery.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• One year of Labor and Delivery clinical experience within the last three years preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsabilités

• Apply nursing process to deliver patient care in the L&D setting.
• Monitor laboring mothers and vital signs; assist with birth as needed.
• Provide patient education and address psychosocial needs post-delivery.
• Coordinate patient care with the care team.
