Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN in Interventional Radiology for a 13-week assignment in Evanston, Illinois. The role features a 40-hour work week with an 8-hour shift and a travel employment type.

The nurse will assist physicians with imaging procedures, manage patient care from initial assessment to planning, and ensure safety and compliance with health regulations. Current RN license and CPR are required or as applicable per contract.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• One year experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician with medical imaging such as MRIs, ultrasounds or X-rays.
• Responsible for patient care during the procedure, including initial assessment and planning of care.
• Administers medication as needed and reviews the patient’s medical history.
