Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Registered Nurse for Interventional Radiology in Rockford, Illinois. This 13-week assignment requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour day shifts and rotating on-call that includes nights and weekends.

You will work in a hospital IR unit, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and care for patients undergoing vascular and neuro interventions. IL RN license and 3+ years of RN experience are required, with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NIHSS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 3 years RN experience with at least 1 year in critical care.
• Experience in cardiovascular interventions required.
• Interventional neurology experience preferred.
• Must pass EKG test prior to orientation.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Interventional Radiology unit.
• Day shift with on-call rotation including nights and weekends during the 13-week contract.
• Care for patients needing interventional neurology and cardiovascular procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document per standards.
• Provide patient/family education and participate in quality initiatives.
