Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Neuro Interventional Radiology RN for a 13-week acute care assignment in Omaha, NE. The role requires 2+ years of experience, ACLS/BLS, and sedation experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital.

Day shifts are 4x10 hours (7:00am–5:30pm) with 40 hours per week and on-call 10–14 days per month. Travel housing and per diem benefits are included, with a focus on patient safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NE state or Compact/NLC)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Sedation experience required
• BSN not required
• Driver's license required for consideration to verify residency distance
• Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility

Responsibilities

• Neuro Interventional Radiology unit in a Level 1 trauma acute care hospital
• Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00am-5:30pm
• 40 hours per week
• Call required 10-14 days per month
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• 12 hours of orientation provided
• Pass/fail open-book exam with a 90% minimum; contract termination if not met
• Artificial nails prohibited in patient care; removal required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
• Cannot have been employed with CommonSpirit-affiliated facility within the past year
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment

• Must pass a pass/fail open-book exam on skills learned during orientation with a minimum score of 90%, or contract will be terminated
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments; refusal to remove nails will result in contract termination
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may not have been employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
