Qualifications
- Active RN license required.
- Degree from accredited nursing program.
- BLS certification required.
- Eighteen months recent experience in Interventional Radiology.
- Other client-specific requirements may apply.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures.
- Provide education to patient and family.
- Insert and remove intravenous lines.
- Administer medications including moderate sedation.
- Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
- Oversee safety and comfort of patient before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide post-procedure monitoring.
