Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for an Interventional Radiology position in Texas. The role requires 2 years of IR, ER, or ICU experience and ACLS/BLS certification. The ideal candidate holds an active TX or compact RN license and is prepared for a fast-paced, field-hopping environment.

Day shift with occasional night coverage, rotation through CT, MRI, and US areas, and generous housing and travel reimbursements are available for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of IR/ER/ICU experience
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Experience with moderate sedation for IR, CT invasive, and MRI sedation preferred

Responsibilities

• Radiology nursing prep/holding unit support for IR, CT, MRI, US
• 10-bay unit staffed with about 9 nurses per day
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Night shift coverage via rotating call
• Floating to CT, MRI, US areas
• Call Monday–Friday 6p–6a and weekends 6a–6a
• Provide pre/post procedural and holding care for radiology patients
• Strong patient care focus preferred
• Navy scrubs required
• No RTO or scheduling accommodations
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
