Job summary

Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse – Infusion in Burlington, MA for a 13-week travel assignment starting 11/23/2026. The role offers a 4x10-hour shift pattern with every third Saturday and 72 hours guaranteed biweekly.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and infusion therapies, ensuring patient safety, managing IV access, documenting in EPIC, and educating patients on treatment plans. Orientation is provided; ONS chemo provider card required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in MA or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years infusion/chemo administration experience.
• BLS (AHA) certification.
• ONS chemo provider card.
• EPIC experience.
• Competence with IV access including IVADs and PICC lines.
• Ability to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule and every third Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy and medical infusion therapies for adults per physician orders; monitor for reactions and adverse events; manage IV access including IVADs and PICCs.
• Start and maintain peripheral IVs; operate infusion pumps; monitor rates and patient response; document progress.
• Document care in EPIC; follow unit procedures and safety protocols; coordinate with oncology physicians and care team.
• Provide patient/family education on treatment plans, side effects, and post-infusion care; reinforce safety and protocol adherence.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed; label and handle specimens; assist with blood products when indicated.
• Maintain staffing flexibility; may be assigned 2-3 infusion chairs per shift; may float to secondary site.
