Job summary

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions (in partnership with Scion Health) is seeking a travel nurse for an 8, 10, or 13 week assignment at a community hospital in Conroe, TX. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and support, in facilities across the region.

Requirements include one year of acute care, active nursing license, required certifications, and a nursing degree from an accredited program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year acute care in a hospital setting.
• Current state nursing license.
• Certifications as required for specific position.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Demonstrate code of conduct and compliance policies.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and documenting care.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team, physician, patient, and family.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial support needs.
• Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
