Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for Labor & Delivery in Lexington, KY. The role requires KY or compact licensure and BLS, ACLS, NRP, plus dysrhythmia certifications. Night shifts are 3x12s, totaling 36 hours per week for a 13-week assignment.

Expect direct patient care around childbirth, assessments, care planning, and coordination of admissions and discharges with education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact).
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and life-threatening dysrhythmia certifications are required.
• ADN or ASN is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for patients before, during, and after childbirth.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement treatments within scope of practice.
• Coordinate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education.
• Delegate and oversee tasks performed by other care team members.
