Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in Fargo, North Dakota. This role emphasizes hematology/oncology care and bone marrow transplant patients, with 36 hours weekly across 12-hour shifts for a 13-week assignment.

The position requires delivering comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications, symptom management, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams; EPIC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• ND or Compact RN license or willingness to obtain one.
• Minimum of 2 years recent nursing experience in a large hospital setting (250+ beds).
• Experience in busy level 1 trauma centers preferred.
• Willingness to float to other medical-surgical units as needed; EPIC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for hematology/oncology patients, including those receiving blood products and antibiotics, with head-to-toe assessments and family communication.
• Administer medications and monitor patient conditions; document in EPIC.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, symptom management, and interdisciplinary team communication.
• Rotating day/night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holiday coverage; no call required.
