Job summary
Cynet Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy unit in Thousand Oaks, CA. This 13-week travel assignment offers a day shift (8 hours, 08:00–16:30) with no call or weekend shifts required.
The role requires a valid RN license, 2 years of nursing experience, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, and BSN. The nurse will support endoscopy procedures, monitor patients, and document in the Epic system.
Qualifications
- 2 years of nursing experience required.
- Valid Registered Nurse license.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, BSN.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the endoscopy area and GI Laboratory.
- Assist physicians during endoscopy procedures and maintain sterile technique.
- Monitor patients during conscious sedation and manage potential adverse events.
- Maintain pharmacology knowledge, drug interactions, and side effects as needed.
- Complete charting in Epic and coordinate care across related units.
