American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel assignment in Albany, Georgia. The role requires 5+ years of ER nursing, TNCC, and prior travel experience. Shifts are 7a-7p, 3x12s, with 36 hours per week and a 24-week length.

Openings exist for 4 travelers, with lodging meals and stipends detailed in the pay breakdown. The position involves working in a high-volume ER with MEDITECH EMR, 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, and 24/7 RT support, supporting diverse trauma,

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS or ASLS, and CPI.
• Minimum 5+ years of RN experience required.
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required.
• MEDITECH EMR experience required.
• Emergency Department experience in an acute care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Center of an acute care hospital.
• Handles approximately 180-200 patient visits per day.
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.
• Facility serves as a CVA (stroke) center.
• Unit includes a 6-bed behavioral/psych lockdown area staffed by psych personnel.
