Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position in Louisiana with a LA or compact RN license and night shift availability. This is a 13-week travel assignment with a night schedule from 19:00 to 7:30, and eligibility depends on distance from the facility for travel rates.

Requirements include active LA or compact RN license, current Nursys verification, a supervisor reference within the last year, and a copy of the driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Active LA or compact RN license required.
• Current Nursys verification required (pulled within 10 days).
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required.
• Copy of driver’s license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting.
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Provide emergency department nursing care to patients.
• RTO of 5 days or less preferred.
• Must reside outside a 75-mile radius to qualify for travel rate; local candidates may be eligible for a local rate.
• Former LCMC facility permanent employees must have separated from employment for at least one year to be considered for a travel assignment.
