Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Austin, Texas. This assignment is 13 weeks long, with a 36-hour work week, 12-hour day shifts and travel employment.

Requirements include an active RN license, degree from an accredited nursing program, BLS/ACLS/PALS and TNCC as needed, plus 18 months of recent ER acute care experience. Benefits include weekly pay, housing options, and insurance coverage.

• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting

Responsibilities

• Emergency Room RN duties include assessing, intervening and stabilizing patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Provide care for patients from trauma and illness requiring emergency attention.
• Properly understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
