Job summary

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Jacksonville, Florida. The position focuses on open heart procedures in the OR, with scrub and circulate duties and coverage of cardiac, neuro, and vascular cases.

The assignment lasts 13 weeks, starting October 2026, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour days. Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license is required, along with recent CVOR experience.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license.
• Recent cardiac (open heart) experience with at least 2 years as a CVOR RN.
• Last 12 months must include at least one assignment at a Level 1 trauma facility or an academic medical institution.
• Candidates must have at least 2-3 years as an RN, with prior travel experience.
• BLS certification required; TNCC and ACLS preferred.
• Epic EMR experience required.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate duties in cardiovascular OR.
• Cover cardiac, neuro, and vascular cases.
• May require some weekends and call shifts.
