Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a night-shift RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position in Hickory, NC. The role requires CVICU experience and an active NC or Compact RN license, with BLS/ACLS current and at least 1.5 years of nursing experience, including 1 year CVICU experience.

The assignment spans 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on nights (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). No on-call duties; standard orientation dates apply, and benefits are included for eligible travelers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1.5 years of nursing experience required.
• At least 1 year of CVICU experience required (post-orientation).
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care nursing to cardiovascular ICU patients.
• Work within a Level 3 trauma hospital's CVICU.
• Coordinate care with the facility and ICU team; ensure patient safety.
• Maintain patient monitoring and respond to rapid changes in status.
