Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cath Lab/EP position requiring BLS, ACLS, and a valid KS or compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting
• Perform circulating duties for cardiac catheterization procedures including diagnostic, left heart, and right heart catheterizations
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation and administer related medications
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and monitor pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hours from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Floating to similar units within scope required as needed, with brief unit orientation provided

Requirements

• Active KS or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required in hand
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab nursing experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
• Former staff members must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible, as locals are not accepted
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
