Job summary

TalentBurst, Inc. is seeking a Travel RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab at Reston Hospital Center in Reston, VA. This 40-hour-per-week assignment features four 10-hour days with on-call coverage to support cardiac catheterizations and pacemaker procedures.

The unit includes a 9-bed pre/post area, a Mac Lab and Philips C-Arm, and an on-site recovery area. Must have Cath Lab RN experience and be willing to take on-call shifts.

Location:

• Unit: Cath Lab (First Floor)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours per Shift: 10 hours
• Schedule: 4 days/week (40 hours/week)
• Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Call: Required

Unit Information:

• Cath Lab: Currently 1 Cath Lab
• Recovery Area: 9-bed pre/post procedure area
• Daily Staffing:
  • 1 Charge Nurse
  • 2 RCIS
  • 3–4 RNs
  • Total: 5–6 staff/day (3 staff for elective cases)
• Night Shift: Not operational

Equipment & EMR:

• Equipment: Mac Lab, Philips C-Arm
• EMR: CPOE

Procedures:

• Diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations
• Pacemaker insertions

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
