Job summary

Focus Staff is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager for a travel contract in GREENBRAE, CA. The assignment is a 13-week temporary engagement with day shifts, offering health insurance coverage and other benefits.

The RN should have an active state license and at least two years of hospital-based nursing experience, including utilization/case management. BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Current state license required.
• B.S. in Nursing or related health field preferred but not required.
• Minimum of three years hospital-based nursing practice with experience in utilization/case management.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required within 30 days of hire.
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to patients according to policy and procedure.
• Ability to take direction from others and follow through in a concise manner.
• Ability to communicate well with patients, families, co-workers, etc.
• Ability to set priorities.
• Acts to protect and advance patient’s best interest.
• Maintains knowledge of billing, payor contracts, and reimbursement issues.
• Demonstrates competency in performing job duties.
