American Traveler is seeking a Registered Nurse Navigator for a Case Management/Utilization Review role requiring an active CA RN license and at least one year of ambulatory or med-surg nurse navigation experience.

Ambulatory setting within a Nurse Navigator unit
13-week assignment with day shift schedule (5x8, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of experience in nurse navigation/coordination within an ambulatory setting, or med-surg experience required
EPIC EMR experience required and must be documented in work history
Must pass EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
Skills required include IV starts, medication administration (IM, IV, subcutaneous), patient teaching, telephone triage, and minor injections (e.g., B12)

Additional Information

No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days RTO per 13-week contract preferred
