Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking an RN - Telemetry for a cardiac unit in Hickory, North Carolina. This travel assignment features a 36-hour workweek, days shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and every-other-weekend coverage on a 13-week contract.

Required are an active NC or Compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience. Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo experience is preferred, with Cerner EMR familiarity a plus.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NC or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Associate's degree required
• Experience with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo equipment preferred
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiac nursing care on a telemetry unit
• Care for patients with chest pain, A-fib, CHF and post-catheterization care
• Use Life Pak, Zoll and Masimo equipment for monitoring and treatment
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication with physicians and staff
