Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit (10K). This 14-week temporary assignment is dayshift with a pay rate of $75.00 per hour.

Two or more years of acute care RN experience, Virginia or compact multi‑state license, BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale are required, along with an nursing degree (Associate, Bachelor, Master, or diploma).

Qualifications

• Two or more years of acute care RN experience.
• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and ACLS.
• NIH Stroke Scale recognition or certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care on Stepdown Intermediate Care Unit.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team on patient plans.
• Monitor patients with cardiac, renal, sepsis, pneumonia conditions and document in EPIC.
