Position Overview

Are you a skilled Registered Nurse looking for your next travel nursing adventure? We are seeking an experienced Travel RN for a Cardiac Observation Unit in Tucson, Arizona! This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with a background in critical care, cardiac monitoring, procedural nursing, or recovery to expand their experience while exploring the beauty and excitement of Southern Arizona.

You'll care for patients who require cardiac observation, monitoring, and evaluation, working in a fast-paced clinical environment where strong assessment skills and attention to detail are essential.

Schedule & Call Requirements

Shift Options: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM, or 8:00 AM–8:30 PM

Work Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week

Call Rotation: Approximately once every 4–6 weeks

Saturday Call: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Sunday Call: 7:00 AM–2:00 PM

Weekend call participation is required.

Requirements

Active Arizona RN license or compact-state RN license

Current BLS certification

Current ACLS certification

Previous experience in at least one of the following settings:

Intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Telemetry (Tele)

Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)

Surgery Center

Strong patient assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, patient-focused environment
