Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Clackamas, Oregon. The assignment runs for 13 weeks with 40 hours per week and an 8-hour shift.

The RN specializes in cardiac procedures, monitors vitals, assists with sedatives, and collaborates with doctors and staff. Minimum 2 years Cath Lab or critical care experience preferred; ACLS and state licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• RN license required in the state where working.
• ACLS may be required by state/client contract.
• Minimum 2 years of critical care or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred.
• CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab.
• Circulate and scrub during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures.
• Discharge teaching for patients and families about medications and lifestyle changes.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and sedation levels.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure consent forms are complete.
