MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab in Phoenix, AZ. This travel assignment runs 13 weeks with 40 hours per week, typically 10-hour day shifts. The RN must hold an active license, have a nursing degree, and possess BLS and ACLS certifications.

The role involves performing angioplasties, pacemaker implants as needed, and ensuring patient care throughout the peri-procedural period. Travel reimbursement and housing options are provided by MedPro.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform angioplasties and assist with pacemaker implantation as needed.
• Identify blockages, assist physicians during procedures, and monitor patient status.
• Administer interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations and related diagnostic/interventional steps.
