Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Cath Lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform angioplasties, implant pacemakers and diagnose cardiac conditions with invasive catheterization.
• Administer care for heart disease and heart attack patients by visual diagnostics of the arteries of the heart.
• Identify blockages, assist the physician during procedures, and monitor the patient’s status.
