Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Travel RN for the Cardiac Cath Lab to care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional heart procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.

You will manage pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care, monitor hemodynamics and rhythms, and collaborate with cardiologists to ensure safe, high-quality care. This role requires maintaining sterile technique and providing sedation and IV medication support.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Proficiency in hemodynamic and rhythm monitoring.
• Experience with moderate sedation and IV medication administration.
• Ability to work in fast-paced clinical settings with strict sterile practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac catheterization patients.
• Monitor hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms; respond to patient status changes.
• Administer moderate sedation and IV medications per protocol.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Collaborate with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives and uphold patient-first standards.
