Job summary

WYMC-Central is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiac Catheterization (Cath Lab) for a 13-week assignment in Casper, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will assist with cardiac procedures, monitor patients before, during, and after, and provide specialized care in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Earn $2,900–$3,105 per week with four day shifts, rotating call, and a November 16, 2026 to February 13, 2027 contract.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for Wyoming or multi-state with WY privileges.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• WY DFS certification/credential as required by the facility.
• Strong cardiovascular assessment and patient monitoring skills.
• Experience assisting with cardiac procedures and caring for CV patients.
• Ability to recognize and respond to procedural emergencies.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Availability for day schedule and rotating call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assess patients before procedures; review histories and vitals.
• Monitor rhythms and vital signs during procedures.
• Assist cardiologists and procedural team during procedures.
• Administer medications and IV therapies per orders.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and recovery.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety protocols.
