Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state of practice (or compact license).
• Current BLS certification.
• Specialty certifications (preferred): CPI, PMHN-BC.
• 1-2+ years of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients with mental health and behavioral disorders.
• Administer medications and monitor patient response and side effects.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain patient safety and therapeutic environment.
