Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position at UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion. The role involves direct patient care across transplant-related services with day/night rotations.

Competitive hourly pay at $50 per hour plus travel package may be included, and 13-week extension options are available. Minimum requirements include a Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges, 1 year of experience, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross).
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care at top of scope utilizing the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve exceptional outcomes.
• Precept new staff and students in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Support safety and quality of care at the point of care.

Department

Highly specialized in the care of all solid organ transplants (kidney, liver, pancreas, heart/lung), thoracic surgery, and hepatology. We're pioneers in liver transplantation. We have extensive experience with living donor liver transplants and are the only academic medical center with a dedicated Transplant specialty unit in the Rocky Mountain region

Work Schedule

Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Pay

$50.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend

13 week assignments available - extension options

Minimum Requirements

CO RN license or eNLC privileges1-year experienceBLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
