Job summary

UCHealth Anschutz - Aurora is seeking a registered nurse for Acute Cardiology Medicine on a full‑time basis. Schedule includes day/night rotation with 72 hours per pay period and a 13‑week assignment option. You will deliver top of scope direct patient care using the nursing process on a multidisciplinary team.

Requires Colorado RN license or eNLC, BLS upon start and through 60 days post‑hire, and at least 1 year of nursing experience. Travel package/stipend provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or eNLC privileges.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date; BLS/CPR card valid through 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness, patient safety and evidence-based practice.
• Model precepting of new staff or students in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Contribute to safety and quality at the point of care.
