Job summary

Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a 26-week travel assignment in a correctional healthcare setting in Coal Township, PA. This night shift offers 40 hours weekly with a gross weekly pay of $2,326 and a travel stipend depending on IRS rules.

You will join a nurse-led team, provide direct care, administer meds, and follow security procedures within a correctional facility. BLS and PA RN license are required, ACLS preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Current, active Pennsylvania RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Strong nursing assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to provide routine and urgent RN care within scope.
• Ability to work in high-pressure healthcare environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Work effectively within a secure correctional environment.
• Available for 3rd shift, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.
• Commit to the 26-week assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care within RN scope of practice.
• Assess and monitor patient health and changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Provide routine and urgent nursing care as appropriate.
• Use strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and urgent situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Communicate with nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
• Follow clinical, safety, security, and facility procedures.
• Deliver professional care within a secure correctional environment.
