Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a travel position with Sanford. You’ll provide patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians, and support patients across diverse settings, focusing on underserved communities.

Contract typically runs 14 weeks with possible extension or transfer to another Sanford site; weekly pay includes stipend and Sanford benefits. Requires RN license and 1 year of experience plus 6 months travel, and a 60‑mile distance from the location.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including AACN/ACEN/NLN CNEA standards.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practicing state or multi-state licensure (NLC).

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and inter-professional colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care, education, triage, and other nursing interventions within scope of licensure.
