Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital South, L.L.C. in Tulsa, OK seeks an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process with a 6:30am-3:00pm schedule and 4–5 on-call shifts per month.

Must complete basic nursing education and hold a current RN license (multi-state or OK). BLS/ACLS preferred. 1 year of related experience and strong communication/organization are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved nursing program and hold or be eligible for licensure as an RN in Oklahoma or multi-state.
• Current RN license in good standing; BLS and ACLS preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience in the specialty.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication; ability to follow clinical pathways.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Complete age-appropriate assessments and individualize plans of care.
• Document findings accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in patient education.
