Job summary

Global Guardian in San Mateo, CA, seeks a Travel Risk and Threat Intelligence Analyst to handle daily intelligence reporting and travel logistics for the team. This is a 100% in-person role at the client site requiring expertise in threat intelligence, travel safety, emergency management, and crisis escalation.

Starting January 1, 2027, the salary ranges from $125,000 to $135,000 annually, with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Emergency Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; 2+ years in emergency/crisis management or related areas.
• Certifications such as CPP or PSP are desirable.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products.

Responsibilities

• Provide centralized monitoring of critical events and rapid outreach to personnel and stakeholders.
• Conduct predictive and real-time assessments to identify security risks and issue threat alerts.
• Monitor operations and employee locations in real time for safety and logistics.
• Evaluate flight patterns, hotels, destinations, and transport options for safer choices.
• Maintain meticulous data for security systems and coordinate repairs with the Systems Team.
• Utilize mass communication systems to inform stakeholders and travelers.
• Monitor global security trends and alerts to enable proactive threat response.
